The Cols Réservés week usually takes place in the third week of July. It’s free, open to everyone and no signing up is required! There is no start or finish and no clocks! Just arrows showing the way to the mountain pass. There will be refreshment stalls, organised by the Comité Départemental du Tourisme, at the foot of either side of the pass and on the pass itself. You can also reach them via one of our 20 recommended circuits.
During the ‘Cols Réservés’ event get your ‘brevet’ validated at the top of the five passes and win a cycling jersey in the colours of the Hautes-Alpes. Get your brevet validated every day at the top of the passes by one the organisers and you could win a jersey in one of the daily prize draws.
The passes are closed at the final intersections on both sides. This means you can reach them from either side!
